BACK GROUND

I directed and produced the music video for "long time no see," the lead track from Fujitakako's digital EP "dress." Based on the album's concept of "dress" as meaning to adorn oneself or arm oneself, the video was created with the theme of visualizing the relationship between oneself and others.

COMMENT

Even when we're in the same space, the world and our own time flow at different speeds. I captured the feeling I got from the song by varying the shooting speed of Fujita and the band members, and translated it into video as a flow of time that sometimes overlaps and sometimes doesn't quite mesh.
